Diana DeGette as cosponsor of the Federal Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard Act (HR 969) This bill will increase our use of homegrown renewable resources like wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass by requiring 20 percent of electricity production to come from these sources by 2020.

Environment Colorado want you to contact the Water Quality Control Commission
In 2006, your Water Quality Control Commission did the right thing and decided to require the oil and gas industry in Colorado to control runoff from oil and gas sites and protect our streams. Now the industry is trying to roll back this rule. On May 14, 2007, the industry will go before the Commission and ask for significant waivers and exemptions from the rule.
