This page shows actions that you can take. It is intended that this page will be a clearinghouse for this kind of information. Most of these actions do not originate with the Boulder County Democratic Party. They are posted by the Boulder County Democratic Party but are not limited to Democratic Party actions. The page intends to include any action in which a Democrat might be interested. That means you may not support or approve of all of the actions but would allow that some Dem might. We will err on the side of inclusion.
In general we use labels to identify organization and cause or issue. If you click on one of the labels, you will go to a page that shows all the entries for that label. For example clicking on DFA actions will give you all the DFA entries and clicking on Iraq will give you all the Iraq related entries.
We will in general not include requests for contributions.
We welcome submissions. Please include the following information:
- The name of the sponsoring organization.
- The url (web page address) of the sponsoring organization
- The url of the action (for example the url of the page containing a petition to be signed, the url of the page to write your representative, the url of the page to register for a class or convention etc.)
- A short description of the action
- any key dates such as deadlines or invalid after etc.
- your name, phone and email. We will not post it or give it out but we may need to contact you to clarify things.
Email them to
webmaster@bouldercountydems.org. We want this to be as easy as possible so If you find out about an action via an email and the email has the necessary information, you can just forward it with a note to put it on the action page.
We reserve the right to make our own decisions about which items to post. We will attempt to email you with reasons why we don't post an individual item but hope to avoid an argument.
